during my stay, I loved how close I was to the beautiful kirkwall marina just a few steps away, making my morning strolls delightful. The orcadian history at the orkney museum was only a pleasant walk of about 500 meters, truly enriching my weekend getaway.

Ask for larger pots if you plan to cook in the apartment. it made preparing meals for our family much easier.

Had a lovely family get-together here, with the kids enjoying the cozy pool and fun game room after a long day. There’s plenty to unwind, like the on-site spa and relaxing gardens to stroll through. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use a bit more variety, but overall, our stay was a blast! 😄

I had a lovely stay for a night. The place is right near the ferry terminal and city center, super convenient! Room was comfy, with a nice bathtub and a kettle for tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just found the noise from the street a bit annoying at times.

The double room had a great view of the sea. It was comfy with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, and a private bathroom featuring a good shower. Staff were super friendly and offered helpful local tips. Breakfast had solid options with hot food like sausages and bacon, but could use more variety.

my stay at ayre hotel & ayre was lovely. the food was fantastic, especially the kippers for breakfast, and the staff were amazing, making us feel very welcome. the hotel is in a great location, right in front of everything you need. i particularly loved the modern look of the conservatory.

The main entrance to reception can be overly confusing!!! Plus, some rooms suffer from irregular hot water supply, leaving guests with cold showers during peak hours!!!

The hotel offers a lovely central location with clean rooms and friendly staff, although noise from a nearby club made sleeping difficult. The bed was notably uncomfortable, but the dinner was satisfying. a pleasant experience despite some drawbacks.
